Desiccant dryers, also called adsorption dryers, deliver the driest compressed air available by passing it over a desiccant material that adsorbs moisture, achieving very low pressure dew points well below freezing.

When you need a desiccant dryer

A desiccant dryer is the right choice wherever ultra-dry air is essential and a refrigerated dryer is not enough. Typical applications include outdoor or sub-zero pipework, instrumentation, pharmaceuticals, food processing, electronics and critical control air, where any moisture could cause freezing, corrosion or product spoilage.

Sizing and protecting a desiccant dryer

Size the dryer to your air delivery (CFM), working pressure and the dew point your process requires, and protect the desiccant with the correct pre and after filtration to keep oil and particulates out.
