When to choose a portable compressor

Portable compressors suit construction, groundworks, breaking, sandblasting, utilities and plant hire, where you need plenty of air away from a fixed installation. Rugged and towable or skid-mounted, they are built for site conditions and high air demand from breakers and air tools.

Diesel vs electric portables

Diesel-driven models suit remote sites with no mains power and offer the highest free air deliveries, while electric portables suit indoor and lower-noise applications. Specify on free air delivery (CFM) and pressure (bar) for your tools, and consider tow weight, number of outlets and on-board aftercooling if you need cleaner air.
