Hitachi Sullair DSP55 7 Bar 324 CFM, part of the DSP Series, is engineered for reliable, oil-free compressed air with superior efficiency. The innovation air-end construction features stainless steel rotors in both stages, a PTFE-free rotor coating, and an internally coated rotor housing to deliver long life and stable performance at 7 barg (approximately 100 psi) and 324 CFM.

A patented high pre-cooler design (air-cooled units) places a stainless steel pre-cooler before the aftercooler, reducing thermal fatigue and extending component life for higher reliability. The motorized isolation valve protects the compressor by preventing downstream moisture migration when the unit is not running, while the oil mist remover delivers 99.99% efficiency to maintain a cleaner gearcase environment and reduce maintenance top-ups.

The capacity control system offers fixed-speed operation or a variable-speed drive (VSD) option. The fixed-speed spool-type control is designed for up to 1 million cycles per year, delivering durability and lower maintenance, while the VSD option provides efficient turndown with minimal power use at unload and no inlet-valve restrictions, reducing energy consumption by up to 30% at no-load.

Equipped with Hitachi motors, inverters, and a phase monitor, the DSP55 includes in-house support, a 3-year warranty with genuine DSP parts, and a quiet, enclosure-based design suitable for demanding environments up to 45–50°C ambient. External grease fittings on larger motors and easy access to air and oil filters enhance serviceability.
